Everest Legend Kentol Cool headline Youth Adventure Trust’s Adventure Dinner

The Youth Adventure Trust has announced that world-record mountaineer Kenton Cool will headline its annual Adventure Dinner on Friday 13th November 2026 alongside the one and only Tim Major from Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce (TVCC) as the esteemed auctioneer.

Taking place at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park, the evening offers regional businesses a unique mix of high-level leadership insights from Kenton and powerful local social impact with an inspiring young speaker who has been supported by the charity.

Having summited Mount Everest an astonishing 20 times, Kenton Cool is renowned globally for translating lessons from extreme mountain environments into actionable business strategies. His keynote will focus on overcoming adversity, building resilience and leading under pressure. Complementing Kenton’s business masterclass, guests will hear directly from a young person who has completed the charity’s outdoor adventure and mentoring programmes. Their story will give attendees a moving, first-hand account of how the charity helps vulnerable 11 to 15-year-olds build resilience, develop self-belief and learn life skills to face challenges in their everyday lives.

With leading regional businesses already confirmed, the Adventure Dinner delivers key corporate benefits: leadership and business resilience, direct CSR and local impact and team celebration and networking

Mark Davey, CEO at the Youth Adventure Trust, commented:

We are thrilled to bring Kenton Cool and one of our amazing young ambassadors together on stage. While Kenton brings world-class perspectives on leadership and resilience, our young speaker provides the true heart of the evening – showing local businesses the direct, life-changing impact their support creates right here in our community. With fantastic companies already joining us in the room, it’s set to be an unmissable night

Tim Major, Senior Account Manager at TVCC commented:

I’m looking forward to being an auctioneer for the evening as this is a unique opportunity to network with the business community, support young people in the region and grab yourself a “money can’t buy” auction item.

With just a handful of tables remaining, businesses are being encouraged to reserve their spot quickly. Individual tickets are £85, with discounted corporate tables of 10 available for £800. Or businesses are unable to join on the night, bids can be made in the online auction – https://galabid.com/adventure-auction-26
