Jack Rankin MP Joins Thames Valley Chamber Political Working Lunch in Windsor

Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce was pleased to welcome Jack Rankin, Member of Parliament for Windsor, to its latest Political Working Lunch, hosted by Konami Digital Entertainment at its European Headquarters in Windsor.

The event brought together local business leaders for a timely discussion on the political and economic issues shaping the operating environment for businesses across the Thames Valley.

Following a welcome from Thames Valley Chamber CEO, Paul Britton, Jack Rankin MP delivered his ‘View from Westminster’, offering insights into his work in Parliament, his role representing Windsor, and the key issues currently facing policymakers and businesses alike.

The discussion was followed by a facilitated Q&A session, during which attendees explored a range of topics including skills, artificial intelligence, employment, and the economic pressures currently affecting businesses.

Prior to the lunch, Jack also chaired a Trade Triangle Inquiry roundtable in partnership with the APPG for Trade and Investment. The session provided an opportunity for a number of the Chamber’s International Trade members and customers to share evidence and insights that will help inform future government policy on trade and investment.

Commenting on the event, Jack Rankin MP said:

It was a pleasure to join the Chamber and speak with local businesses on a range of topics covering AI, apprenticeships, geopolitical tensions and the current economic outlook. Local forums such as these provide a brilliant way to facilitate interaction between policymakers and business.”

Thames Valley Chamber’s Political Working Lunch series provides members with direct access to policymakers, enabling open dialogue on the issues that matter most to the business community.
