Good businesses, doing great work, being held back by cash they’re owed but can’t access. Late payment gets accepted as “just how it is.” It isn’t.

This full-day, in-person workshop is designed specifically for small business owners who are tired of waiting to get paid. No finance background needed. Just a willingness to do something about it.

Commissioned by TEN (The Enterprise Network) as part of Wiltshire Council’s business support programme, the workshop is led by Nicki Kinton MCICM of Confident Cashflow, with 36 years of credit management experience working with small businesses across the UK.

Throughout the day we’ll cover the real cost of late payment (it’s bigger than most people think), the mindsets and myths that get in the way of getting paid, how to set up Ts & Cs, onboarding and processes that support faster payment from the start, how to have confident, clear conversations about money with clients, what your legal rights are under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act, and how to plan and forecast your cash flow so you’re not constantly caught short.

The day is interactive throughout, with group discussion, scenario work and practical exercises, so attendees leave with more than just notes. By the end of the day, you’ll have a clearer picture of what late payment is actually costing your business, more confidence talking about money, and three specific actions you can take immediately.
