Harwell Science and Innovation Campus announced as official partners of Chambers Osaka Expo 2025 programme

Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that Harwell Science and Innovation Campus are official partners of Chambers’ Osaka Expo 2025 programme.

Launched last year at Konami Digital Entertainment B.V in Windsor, in the presence of Mr Hiroshi Matsuura, Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary, The Embassy of Japan in the UK, the Chamber has since acted as a hub, promoting the World Expo to members, wider business community and through the network of Accredited Chambers of Commerce in the UK, highlighting the many opportunities available, enabling businesses across the region and beyond, to understand more about Osaka 2025.

David Williams, Commercial Director at Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, said: “We’re proud to support the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce’s trade mission to Japan. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to fostering innovation and unlocking investment between UK and Japanese businesses.

The Chamber’s strong partnership with Osaka has already created global connections that align closely with Harwell’s mission of driving scientific discovery and commercial growth across key sectors including space, health, energy, and quantum technologies.”

Anne White, Head of International Trade and Compliance, Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce said

We are delighted that Harwell Science and Innovation Campus have joined us as official partners and we look forward to the Trade Mission to Osaka later this year.

The World Expo runs between 13th April and 13th October 2025 and the theme is “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”.  It aims to inspire people to think about how they can create a better future for themselves and future generations.
