Cyber incidents can halt trading, destroy reputation and cost a small business thousands. This practical workshop helps you understand where your business is most exposed and what to do about it. Through an engaging scenario exercise and guided use of trusted national tools in a workshop setting, you’ll explore how simple improvements strengthen your defences, protect your customers and as a bonus help make sure your emails land in customer inboxes rather than the spam folder.

Bring a device so you can follow along and have a go at using the trusted national cybersecurity tools, review your involvement in data breaches and start taking action during the workshop.

  • Interactive workshop guided by Police Cyber Protect Officers and Expert Cyber Volunteers from Industry.
  • Find out how criminals exploit simple cybersecurity gaps – and how to stop them.
  • Learn about Cybersecurity without unnecessary jargon – just practical actions you can take away.
  • Refreshments will be available and the opportunity to network with other Reading businesses
