Macbeth celebrates 30 years with brand refresh, focusing on regional leadership and changing insurance landscape

Macbeth, a leading insurance brokers and financial services firm in the Thames Valley, has unveiled a new brand refresh as it celebrates 30 years of business. The rebrand reflects the Reading-based company’s evolution as one of the region’s fastest-growing independent market leaders and future-focused employers.

The full relaunch has been integrated across the brand from strategic messaging, logo set, strapline, and a new website, through to its sponsorship positioning and client collateral. The refresh was led by independent agency Plott Creative. A key strategy within the refresh was to reflect how the world has changed since Macbeth was founded by CEO Paul Macbeth’s father 30 years ago, while building on the firm’s heritage and placement in the community.

He explains, “We wanted our brand to capture how the world’s shifted for our clients and our people, at the same time, mirroring the personal and business sides of our business.  There’s been a real rediscovery to this process but at its heart, it remains grounded in people and relationships.”

Paul adds, “So much consolidation continues to change the market landscape. It’s imperative that we emphasise what differentiates Macbeth – our independence, expertise, talent, and regional heritage. This refresh communicates who we are today and fosters stronger, more meaningful engagement with our clients, partners, and our community.”

The brand revamp follows another year of continued growth for the firm, increasing its people headcount by almost 15% to 56, with further team expansion planned for 2023. This includes new appointments to its leadership team including Head of Marketing and Head of People as the firm continues to recruit the very best regional talent.

The refresh is part of Macbeth’s continued growth strategy within the Thames Valley. Consolidating its commercial and private client propositions, the firm will continue to build on its expertise in technology, recruitment, life sciences, logistics and freight together with private client.
