Chemists at Basildon Chemicals have taken on a new challenge.
Under normal circumstances, they would be developing and manufacturing chemicals for the food, pharmaceutical, personal care and household industries but instead they have developed a hand sanitiser that can be manufactured at their Abingdon site.
Everyone in the organisation is working tirelessly to make this happen and they are hopeful that they will soon be able to give this to their staff and their families as well as key workers and vulnerable people in the local community.
