Henley based claims management firm ECC achievements highlighted in national media

Local Henley firm and Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce members European Consumer Claims (ECC) are no strangers to positive media reports.

Since 2016 ECC have won over £25.5 million in compensation for clients who were aggressively mis-sold timeshare memberships.

With more than 1360 satisfied customers to date, and a further 1000+ cases under process, worth another £21.7 million, ECC are considered leaders in the field of timeshare justice.

This past month has brought some particularly heavyweight press attention from both the Sunday Times and Reader’s Digest after veteran journalist Eugene Costello sought help with his own elderly parents’ timeshare nightmare.

Unbeknownst to ECC, Eugene documented the entire proceedings for publication, from when he first retained the firm to help him, determined to publish his experience whether good or bad.  In a sense he was an influential, high-stakes ‘mystery shopper.’

As TrustPilot and Google reviews bear witness, ECC clients are overwhelmingly pleased with their service, and Costello was no exception.  He recalls “timely, detailed and faultless communication,” in the video testimonial he subsequently recorded for the ECC feedback page.

ECC are now bringing their expertise across the Atlantic with the launch of American Consumer Claims (ACC) based in New York City.

“There are 20 times the amount of timeshare owners in the US than there are in the UK,” explains Andrew Cooper, CEO of ECC.  “They need help too, and there are not currently too many reliable options for them over there.

“Quality reports like these in the Sunday Times and Reader’s Digest let people know that ECC/ACC can be trusted because of those media outlets’ high fact checking standards and research.

“Wherever people are in the world, if they have a timeshare that they are struggling to get rid of, our team can help.

“In some circumstances, certain owners may even be due sizable compensation if they were mis-sold.”
