Following its successful launch in West Berkshire – with over 6,000 young people responding – Berkshire Youth have opened up their Berkshire Youth Survey 2023 to the rest of the county.
The local youth work charity hope that as many young people as possible complete this survey, which will help them and their partners – including the Police, voluntary groups, parish and town councils – to provide the services that are truly important to young people.
Sarah Emery, Berkshire Youth’s Chief Executive, commented: “It’s only by listening to what young people have to say that we can understand the world as young people see it, and make the changes to improve it where we can.
“There is a maximum of 16 questions to complete, and the feedback will help us to understand where we need to put more resources or help. The survey is anonymous, so we’re asking young people to please be as honest as they can.”

Thanks to support from the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner, Berkshire Youth are able to offer prizes to those schools which have completed the most surveys (as a percentage of the pupils on their roll). They will be offering £500, £300 and £150 prize vouchers towards youth activities and training.
