An office company set up by two business partners from Swindon is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
Following a tricky start, opening its doors in July 2020 during the height of the pandemic, Ritzy Offices has weathered the storm to make a name for itself as one of Swindon’s premier suppliers of office space.
Ritzy is based on the Dorcan Estate and is home to an array of businesses including an accountancy firm, a planning agency and a property management company. The business was set up by friends Rosie Linstead and Anna Pawlowska who identified a need for accommodation around Swindon to meet the demands of modern businesses.
There was a clear requirement for easily accessible spaces that could serve as satellite offices for national companies, general office space for small teams or flexible desk space for co-workers. With close proximity to major transport links including the M4, the Dorcan Estate was an ideal location.
The success of the business is a story of determination on the part of Rosie and Anna. Despite the severe challenges of lockdowns, the pair were able to listen to the needs of local businesses who were seeking high levels of landlord service coupled with an exceptional standard of office facilities.
Rosie said, “When lockdown hit, businesses were really considering how much they were spending out on office space, which in many cases was sub-standard. For years the commercial property industry had ticked along with more demand than supply.
“We quickly realised that we could provide something different. A truly attentive service combined with a high standard of finish, and personalised touches throughout. This really set us apart from the competition and allowed us to grow as a business.”
Anna added, “The game changed just as we opened our doors. Out of crisis came opportunity and we were ready to seize the moment when it came to delivering the office space that businesses wanted.
“Since 2020 we’ve continually invested in our offices to ensure our high standards are maintained. We’ve welcomed a fantastic array of businesses to join us at Ritzy and we’re constantly looking for ways to improve our unique offering even more.”
Mark Campbell, Regional Director of Ritzy tenant Squires Planning, said, “When setting up our Thames Valley office in May last year, we wanted to find an office that was modern and had good facilities, including on-site parking, but that was also accessible for staff and clients alike.
“We originally took a two-person office with Ritzy but have quickly moved to a larger office and are potentially moving again! This flexibility has been great and allows us to grow with minimal fuss.
“Rosie and Anna are always there to help with any issues that might arise. They put on very welcoming and enjoyable get-togethers which are a great chance to meet other Ritzy tenants.”
Ritzy is celebrating its fifth birthday with a party on 5th July for its tenants. Throughout the month there will also be dedicated opportunities for prospective tenants to view the remaining office space available.
