Views from a Business/Global Leader
Exclusively for Inspire, Lead and Business Alliance members, these events create the perfect platform for companies in the region to collaborate, share industry insights with peers and stimulate ideas for innovation.

By invitation only, our roundtables help connect businesses in the Thames Valley to enhance collaborations, information exchange and strengthen commercial networks, promoting the region as a destination of choice for investors.



Monetary Policy Report Briefing
The Bank of England’s Agency for Central Southern England visits the Thames Valley on a quarterly basis, to gather information directly from local business leaders. It is this data, together with equivalent data from the 11 other regional agents, that is fed back to the MPC in order that they can make a decision on the position of interest rates. The events take place one week after the Inflation Report has been published and the Bank’s agent summarises the report and takes questions from the delegates.

Political Working Lunches
Delegates will gain a deeper understanding of the structure and workings of the Westminster (UK) or Brussels (Europe) political world, learning how the political landscape can help with business issues. A Thames Valley based Member of Parliament or South East Member of the European Parliament is invited to speak at each event so it is an ideal opportunity to hear from political influencers.



Business Alliance Dinners
Exclusively for Business Alliance members, this programme of dinner events allows members not only the opportunity to engage with each other on a regular basis, but with key business leaders.

Windsor Debates
The Windsor Debates series, which is now in its 14th year, is a flagship programme for Business Alliance members. Taking place in exclusive environment of St George’s House, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, the Debates address global, modern agenda issues and are Business Alliance driven. High level networking and discussion are provided under Chatham House rule, and the insights gained are of particular benefit to senior executives positioned to influence the strategies of major companies.



International Technology Conference
The annual International Technology Conference equips attendees with the mindset, tools and resources to successfully navigate the transformational journey to the future. With a world-class line-up of speakers, themes and topics this one-day programme regularly attracts over 230 delegates from all sectors to Microsoft HQ in Reading.

Annual Conference
This exciting conference sets the scene for the year ahead and beyond by looking at the future of work through the perspective of people, places and performance. Designed to be a fully interactive day, it will also be the launch event for Chamber activities for the year ahead. Delivered through keynotes and breakout sessions the content will create a forum for the exchange of ideas between business leaders in the region.


International Trade events
Our International Trade events programme is targeted towards conducting international business and making contacts. These events provide advice, guidance and information on the many aspects of international trade, whether it be exploring opportunities in overseas markets, topical issues in the world of global trading, business cultural and communication plus much more.

Tomorrows Leaders
Tomorrow’s Leaders is an exciting new programme designed to use the Chamber’s diverse and established events programme to learning and profile opportunities for future stars. The programme will help members recognise and support future leaders within their business, as well as shining the spotlight on organisations and individuals that help foster and develop new talent in the Thames Valley. Exclusive events include a social event and a debate session looking into the future prosperity of sectors, the region and people.


TVCC Business Awards
Our Business Awards are the most prestigious and credible awards event in the region. Recognising and celebrating the successes and accomplishments of businesses from across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Swindon, the event attracts businesses from all sectors who are keen to compete for coveted titles and the recognition that they bring. Further recognition is gained as winners and runners up go forward to the annual British Chambers of Commerce Business Awards.
