Swindon based company, Kandu Deliveries, Managing Director, Dave Durie, attended a Thames Valley Chamber breakfast meeting. During the networking session, he was approached by an attendee who runs a company in Devizes selling glass radiators to clients all over the country, who advised that he was sending them out via a well-known national carrier, but annoyingly 1 in 10 was arriving broken.
After discussing the issues, Kandu Deliveries offered the company their personal courier service, which they have since exclusively used. Over the last 18 months, the company has delivered more than 30 radiators the length and breadth of the country. No breakages and no damage due to the care we took when loading and unloading them, no special packing, just attention and commitment.
Many customers have sent messages of praise to the company on its helpful attitude whilst making deliveries. Indeed, one customer that was delivered radiators recently purchased an expensive painting whilst on board a cruise ship and needed to get it back safely. Remembering Kandu Deliveries he phoned the company to ask if they could collect the painting from a custom clearing agent in Southampton and deliver it to their apartment in Docklands.
