Major organisations including Bracknell Forest Council, Capitol, Grundon Waste Management, MD2MD and Redwood Technology Ltd were just some of the companies that attended the highly anticipated ‘Made in Bracknell’ (MIB) launch. Organised by the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce, the event took place at the Capitol building and was sponsored by Kronos and Capitol Big Business Place.
Showcasing the success of local, regional and international businesses based or founded in the town and the diverse range of exciting, innovative, international and entrepreneurial business in the area. It also marked and celebrated the regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre and the opening of the Lexicon, which is set to become one of Berkshire’s most vibrant shopping and leisure destinations.
Ginette Gower, Head of Marketing & Communications, Thames Valley Chamber and Made in Bracknell spokesperson commented: “Response to the campaign has been fantastic. A dedicated page on our website will bring together case studies, hot topics on Bracknell news, business tips and thought leadership views as well as details on upcoming events. The campaign will be supported with a comprehensive social media programme.
“This campaign is part of a bigger ‘Made in’ initiative launched by the Chamber in 2016 to celebrate success across the region.”
An exclusive preview video case study with local business Kronos was unveiled, highlighting the importance of working in the town and what it means to the company.
Attendees had the opportunity to not only hear about the MIB campaign but also how to participate in the popular business networking breakfast, where members of the local business community are invited to bring along pop-up stands and promote their products and services to likeminded companies.
