POLICY & REGIONAL REPRESENTATION

Regional Representation

The Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group is the independent voice of business across the Thames Valley, and along the M4 corridor into Swindon. It represents some 250,000 employees. Lobbying on behalf of business on topics such as skills and education, business crime and business rates, the Chamber gives its members a voice to influence decision-making, at a national, regional and local level.

Through its unique network and reach across the Thames Valley business community, TVCC aspires to be recognised as an exemplar and aspirational Chamber of Commerce, providing new opportunities for local engagement, regional representation and global trade to its membership and wider business community.

In 2017 and beyond, TVCC aims to develop and communicate close co-operation with the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) to influence the International Trade agenda, identify risks and opportunities in a post BREXIT transition and for TVCC members to influence the national policy agenda. Greater emphasis will be placed in the Chamber’s role to provide access to the market opportunities and the connections offered through a national and international accredited network.
