Young Chalfont based entrepreneur becomes
Princes Trust Supported Business

A new training company, People People, which increases the behavioural effectiveness and performance of participants, was recently set up by Chalfont based entrepreneur Robert Kirby.Using experiential and practical learning techniques from the world of drama and theatre, the company engages with organisations to increase the impact, presence and desired behaviours of their people to benefit their performance when working day to day with each other or when meeting clients.

Robert commented: “I saw an opening in the market for delivering training which was fresh, young and dynamic in approach to maximise participant engagement, helping everyone gets the most from their learning. We’ve worked with a private healthcare company, the NHS and trained 250 volunteers who worked on an international sporting event.”

“It was fantastic that the Thames Valley branch of the Princes Trust supported the development of my idea. In just over nine months a robust business plan, with the guidance of a volunteer business mentor, was in place. Taking the plan to a launch group to ensure it was a viable business and given full support. The business is now a Princes Trust Supported Business which has given us continued mentorship for a further two years.“The Princes Trust is an incredible charity and we are planning on organising a 24 hour ‘actathon’, to raise funds for them to say thank you!”
