WHERE CAN I OBTAIN EC CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN?
From any of our International Trade Processing Offices (see Contact Us), or via our online E-Cert system.

WHAT IS THE COST?
A price list is available here. Members of Thames Valley Chamber receive a 50% discount.

DO I NEED TO REGISTER MY COMPANY BEFORE I CAN SIGN DOCUMENTS?
Yes. We require each company to complete a formal undertaking signatory list, which will have to be renewed annually.  We cannot issue documents until we have the completed undertaking originally signed.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EC AND ARAB CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN?
Arab certification covers Arab league states and European Community the rest of the world.

DO YOU CERTIFY INVOICES AND OTHER DOCUMENTS?
Yes. The documents must be signed by a signatory on the company formal undertaking that we have registered with the Chamber.

CAN I HAVE AN EC CERTIFICATE WITH AN ARAB DESTINATION?
Yes, as long as you enclose a signed indemnity declaration on your company headed paper (Letter of Indemnity)

DO THE CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN HAVE TO BE SIGNED BY THE COMPANY?
Yes, on the pink application only. This person must be listed on your company’s current formal undertaking.

CAN I GET EXTRA COPIES OF THE CERTIFICATES CERTIFIED?
Yes, but you need to buy additional yellow copies from the Chamber and have them issued at the same time as the originals.

CAN I OBTAIN A CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN ONLINE?
Yes, it is possible to apply for a Certificate of Origin online via our E-Cert system.
