Justin Woolen has been as Cisco for 5 years where he has worked as a Systems Engineer, Wireless Specialist and now as a Networks Sales Specialist.
He has worked in IT and Networking since 1998 while Serving in the British Army as a Telecommunications Engineer designing and building IT Network to support Military Operations.

In this talk Barry Anns, managing director of business communications specialist du Pré plc, will describe how new applications available in the cloud are changing IT and telephone services particularly for SMEs. He will explain why bandwidth and connectivity is so important to the experience and outline some of the emerging technologies that are lowering the price barrier to high speed internet. Barry might even attempt to explain what ‘the cloud’ is!
Biography:
Barry Anns has been with du Pré plc for 14 years and has his roots in the company’s engineering and operational departments. He has served as a board director for the past four years and was promoted to Managing Director in 2011. Barry has in-depth technical knowledge of current and future IT and telecommunication technologies blended with detailed experience of real-world application to make that knowledge relevant for a business-focused audience.

Overview:
In the world of telecommunications, 4G is the Fourth Generation of Cell Phone Mobile Communications supporting the Long Term Evolution (LTE) standard. Marketed as 4G LTE, the standard applies to wireless communication of high speed data to mobile devices. Conceivable applications include amended mobile web access, IP telephony, gaming services, high-definition mobile TV, video conferencing and 3D television.
The demand for more data on the move has resulted in the natural evolution of the technology. So, what does all that mean to the business user ??
Andrew from Telefonica O2 will touch briefly on the evolution of the technology – who remembers Analogue phone technology from 1981 ? He will put into context the pace of change and underline the advantages to business users that the emerging technology will bring. With the ability to access greater volumes of information, faster and with increased security, the mobile revolution will place the user in a unique position – you can truly be the office on the move.
