This lunch continues the Chamber’s highly popular Business International Programme for 2010. The purpose of this is to pinpoint the building of international and European business relationships and factors which can have a major affect on your business.

Speaker: Rob Wilson MP

Rob is the author of a book, published this month, on the coalition government: “5 Days To Power”. The book gives the first full account of the negotiations that led to the political earthquake of a Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government. Rob will talk about his book and indeed the coalition government – now in power for six months.

The lunch is a forum to discuss how the Thames Valley has benefited from new policies and subsequent impact on local economic development. Rob will also look ahead to 2011.

About Rob Wilson
Rob made his name in Reading as an entrepreneur, successfully building several businesses over the past decade in the health and telecommunications sectors.
He is a former Conservative Party whip and Shadow Minister for Higher Education and is currently Parliamentary Private Secretary to Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Jeremy Hunt MP.
