The group meets four times a year and discusses important current consultations with stakeholders in all modes of travel: rail, road, air, buses, environmentally-friendly options, as well as new technologies, station improvements and government funding.
Transport infrastructure is one of Thames Valley business’ top concerns. Poor transport infrastructure and congestion costs business £17.55 billion to £23.2 billion between 2007 and 2008, a rise of £5.65.
This meeting will include the following:

- SEEDA Transport Project – grants available for SMEs
- Bracknell Forest Council’s Third Local Transport Plan (LTP3)
- Slough Borough Council – Western Access to Heathrow

- Carsharing 2010
- Reading Station Remodelling Project
