At November’s Wycombe Business Breakfast, we welcome David Lynch, Managing Director of digital marketing specialists Lynch Buchanan. David is a qualified accountant and MBA, with a strong interest in the development of new methods of B2B sales.

Business-to-business selling has changed dramatically in the last 10 years. The rapid advance of the internet has made business relationships less personal and mostly electronic. This in turn has led to less loyalty, harder negotiations and lower real prices. Add to that the fact that sourcing via the internet opens you up to international/global competition and we can see that a change in strategy is needed.

It is estimated that most businesses waste up to 80% of their digital spend. Non-internet marketing is declining by 10-20% year on year, as people question the effectiveness of advertisements, trade shows and directories. Many businesses have not changed the way they find new customers, even though their potential customers have changed their buying and sourcing habits.

In just 20 minutes, David Lynch will guide us through the key steps to changing our “B2B” approaches to fit the new era, passing on some tips and tricks about the most cost-effective and successful sales methods for the 21st Century.
