HomeNewsChamber News Reading Property Group Focuses on One Reading Central

Tuesday, 9th February 2010

The vast Reading One Central development, which has transformed the town’s skyline and boasts its greatest environmental credentials, will be the venue and the topic for this month’s Reading Property Group, to be held on
Wednesday 17 February.

With Yell, the international directory business, relocating to the development in April – with plans to occupy 7 of the 10 floors available – the event will welcome Simon Taylor, head of property for Yell, as guest speaker. Simon will discuss the building’s suitability for Yell and its impact on Reading’s property market and its national position.

Nick Coote, regional director and head of office for Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) based in Reading, will also be speaking at the event. LSH has been appointed as one of the agents by developer Kier and acquired the office space on behalf of Yell. Nick is a respected and experienced commercial property agent within the M3/M4 corridors with particular focus on the office market in the Thames Valley.

Commenting on the event Gary Cranford, business manager for the Reading Chamber of Commerce, said: “This month’s event will focus on the development, allowing attendees to gain an understanding of its impact on Reading’s property and construction sector. The forum will also offer attendees the chance to take part in a lively and informative debate, so make sure you come armed with plenty of questions!”
