The Europe Business Assembly (EBA)

The Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group’s strategic partnership with the Europe Business Assembly (EBA) provides members with access to international markets and contacts, and supports our commitment to the development of economic integration at an international level.

The opportunities to access these international markets are provided via:

International organisational contacts

The EBA complements the Chamber’s global network of British Chambers overseas; non-UK Chambers; and overseas industry groups, intermediaries, embassies and businesses.

International Contacts

Influential people from business, academia and science receive recognition at EBA’s biannual award ceremony. Many of the recipients subsequently join the ‘Corporate Global’ level of Chamber membership, which is aimed at overseas organisations that have an interest in building UK alliances. This provides the UK based membership with an increasing number of global contacts and opportunities.

International Networking

The Chamber in conjunction with the EBA holds two international networking events in Oxford each year. With the help of translators, organisations have the opportunity to promote and market their business, whilst developing the types of relationships they seek. Members of the Chamber are also welcome to attend any of the EBA’s overseas events.

Oxford Summit of Leaders

Twice a year the EBA and the Chamber of Commerce hold a joint summit of leaders, where topics under discussion include: leadership, international cooperation and management technologies. The summits provide an ideal opportunity for members to share their expertise and learn more about trends and practises in other countries.
