HomeNewsChamber News Launch of Thames Valley Inward Investment Portal

Thursday, 12th July 2012

Developed to provide a focal point for US investors looking to expand into the UK and Europe, the Thames Valley Inward Investment Portal is now live at www.thamesvalley.co.uk. With support from sponsors including BAA, Microsoft, Goodman, HSBC, Scottish & Southern Energy and Cisco, the site has been developed by 3seven9 Agency of Bracknell.

Paul Britton, Head of Inward Investment, Thames Valley Chamber said: “The launch follows a challenging brief and timescale given to 3seven9 and we are delighted with the result – a highly interactive, dynamic website which showcases the Thames Valley in all its aspects. We are confident that the combination of leading edge design, video technology and the visual presentation, will attract new enquiries from companies looking to set up an office in the UK.”

Simon Hurrell, agency director, 3seven9 commented: “The Chamber had a clear vision on how to promote the Thames Valley region and allowed us the freedom to develop a website that reflects the creativity and diversity of the global brands already established in the region. The bespoke mapping features, video and social media elements of the site will allow visitors to quickly establish the benefits of the Thames Valley whilst becoming part of a strong business network and community. As a Thames Valley company we are of course extremely proud to have been involved in such an important project.”

This marks a good news day for the Thames Valley with the announcement of the Government’s pledge for £500m funding for Western Rail Access to Heathrow (subject to business case and consultation)
